About me: I am applying of the scholarship as it will help me greatly in my Qur'an studies as I am currently working towards memorising the Qur'an. It is something that I feel very passionate about, i.e. to the learn and memorise the Qur'an and then go on and teach it to others. In the next few years I would like to concentrate further on my hifdh and tajweed, with a hope that by the end I will have memorised the Qur'an as well as studied (and memorised) some of the text related to qira'ah and tajweed. |

About me: (Mother of Child) I have given my job up to home school my 8 yr old son. Financially this has put us under immense difficulty. My son is very bright Alhamdulillah and is a keen learner. I don't want finances to get in the way of his passion for learning. I feel he is like a sponge who just absorbs what is taught to him. |

About me: (Mother of Child) I am a mother of four and receiving benefits and am finding it really hard to afford Quran lessons. I am a revert to Islam and really would love for my children to learn Quraan. I am unable to afford lessons for my daughter so a scholarship would really relieve a burden and allow her to benefit aswell in shaa Allaah. |

About me: (Mother of Child) We are trying to raise our children with the best Islamic education particularly as we live in a non muslim, predominately white locality where the nearest mosque is 6 miles away. Both children are genuinely interested in Islam and learning to recite the Quraan. We are under financial strain and do not wish our children to suffer the consequences of this. Enabling them to Learn the Qur'aan is the most important gift we can give them and we do not want to fail in this duty because of finances. |

About me: I stopped working for the sake of Allaah to fully focus on my Qur’an but this time with a tutor. I wish not to beg, because the hand that gives is better than the hand that takes. I have no income at this moment and I have household commitments. I have not sought help, discount or financial support before. However I have reached a point in my life now where it calls for it and if giving the opportunity I would prove to be a outstanding student and cherish this time of having a teacher to teach me. |
