2 WELLS BUILT. MARCH/APRIL 2014
Project Description
Water Well 1
The 1st deep bore hole Water Well was built in Masindi district, Western Uganda. This area is close to the border of Democratic Republic of Congo where there are lots of refugees fleeing from the wars in neighbouring countries. The area contains a mixture of Muslims and Chrstians. We hope this project will have the same effect as our last Nigeria project, where many Christians reverted to Islam. The people of this district are in a real bad situation. People are regularly dying from all types of diseases due to unclean water, poor sanitation, no access to clean water and the long distances they have to travel to get clean water (if they make it back). Lack of clean water is killing people in Uganda on a large scale. Without clean water the Ugandans cannot fight diseases such as, HIV, malaria, typhoid, Ebola fever and cholera. |

The Water Well is be accessed by 1000s of people. Mothers who are breastfeeding have no option but to drink from dirty rivers and infect their babies with numerous diseases. SubhanAllah, these people dont have the basic commodity of water that most of us are blessed with.
Clean water is not the only problem for these people, however, most of these people have been raped, abused, lost their properties and families to the wars in the surrounding countries, victims of all types of social problems.
Water Well 2
The 2nd well was built in the Iganga District, Eastern Region, Uganda. This water well provides clean water to the very poor needy villages in and around a village called Naluwerere. There are mostly Muslims in these villages who have to travel approx 18km to get clean water!

1 WELL BUILT. PROJECT COMPLETED IN APRIL 2018
Project Description
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MUSLIM COUNCIL OF HONG KONG
Al-hamdulilah, in 2018 we were back in a different part of Uganda to build another deep borehole well for the needy people. This pressurised water tap well was built in the village of Kigombe Kasana, Luwero District because the nearest source of clean water was approx. a 1 mile walk away. The water well was built in connection with the village Masjid (Masjid Twaha Al-Hudah) who has a well management committee to ensure the well is secure.
May Allah accept from all those involved for providing clean water to the needy people in the area.
