We have received feedback from the teacher for our sponsored Student 002 after Month 1.
"We began with Qaeda al Baghdadi. Only letters of the alphabet were known by student, but could not read. She has now overcome this and began learning tajweed of Quran. Excellent level"

Feedback from the mother of Student 001 after Month 1.
(Student 001) still has a few mistakes but she has come a long way with her memorisation alhumdulillah. She is also showing more confidence with her recitation. Without the scholarship this would not have been possible.  SRF were made aware of a Madrassa in Somalia that required Tajweed Qur'ans because the students used to share with the teacher.
Therefore we dispatched a number of Tajweed Qur'ans and Al-hamdulilah they have reached the Madrassa and are with the students.  Sometimes not everyone attends Islamic talks at a Masjid or attends Islamic Course seminars. Therefore SRF provides books to Brothers who spread the religion of Islam on the streets. The books were carefully selected by the Brothers who have years of experience of giving Dawah on the streets.
SRF utilises every opportunity to get involved with Sadaqah Jariyah.  SRF help set up an 8 day course for 25 boys (aged 9-13) on the basics of Islam. We also providing the course literature to the course tutor. The course covered various topics including Belief in Allah, The Messengers, The Angels, Funerals, Zakat, Hajj, Fasting, How To Pray, Wudu amongst others.
 What an amazing opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah came to SRF.
A Youth Course organised by one of our volunteers led to the opportunity of providing the books for the teacher. These books were used by the teacher to teach the course to over 50 students. Al-hamdul  SRF and Islamic Online University have begun working together to plant seeds of Sadaqah Jariyah. IOU students study Islamic books regularly as part of their degree. SRF viewed supporting these students with literature as a great opportunity of Sadaqah Jariyah for our donors.
The IOU website has an integrated SRF form  SRF has a stall at Green Lane Masjid during a number of days in Ramadhaan. Al-hamdulilah, so far we have received had a great response with many standing orders set up and leaflets distributed.
SRF has donated books to a brother who accepted Islam two days ago. Alhumdulilah!
