A Gambian brother residing in Birmingham informed us about his uncles' madaaris in Gambia. These madaaris run in the urban and rural areas of Gambia. They teach children from beginners to intermediary, and have up to thirty students per class. Because they don't take any fee for their classes as they are working for the sake of Allah and the benefit of the community, they are short on funds for resources needed. The brother requested sixty copies of the Tajweed Quran, allowing all the students to memorise past the first juzz with ease inshaa Allah. We ask Allah to bless these brothers and their efforts at making the gaining of knowledge accessible for Gambian residents, ameen.
